1. Why do the people of Raymond 3CU meet to have "church"? We are committed to bringing the message of Jesus Christ to our surrounding community in order to reach those who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus. We believe that the Bible is true, and that it has application for our lives today. We believe that God desires our worship, and we gather together each Sunday morning to do just that. 2. What time are the services? There are two services on Sunday and a Bible study that meets on Wednesday. Sundays @ 9:00AM - Welcome Breakfast: Join us for a free breakfast in the fellowship hall. Sundays @ 9:30AM - Sunday School: There are classes provided for children and adults, including a nursery for newborn through 3 years. Sundays @ 10:30AM - Worship Service: This includes a children's service and nursery. Sundays @ 6:00PM - Evening Worship: Join us for a more contemporary service. Children are welcome! Wednesdays @ 7:00PM - Prayer and Bible Study: Held at the church. 3. How long do the services last? Sunday morning services typically last no more than an hour & 15 minutes, with the average service coming in at around one hour. The same goes for Sunday nights. 4. Will I be expected to give anything? No. If you are a guest with us, please don't feel obligated to participate in the offering. Instead, let the service be our gift to you. 5. What should I wear? Casual dress is completely acceptable and welcomed. There is no reason to break out your suits, ties and dresses unless you want to. 6. Will I have to say anything, do anything or be singled out in any way? At Raymond 3CU, you can rest assured that you will never be put on the spot, never singled out or embarrassed by being asked to participate in any way. 7. What about my kids? Do they stay with me during the service or is there something else for them? Our excellent children's ministry and nursery provide an exciting, quality experience for your child or newborn during the service. The nursery is open during Sunday school and the morning service. |
